2 Transfer to the launch site in Beatenberg
After checking in, you and other guests head to the launch site. This is located in Beatenberg and the 20-minute drive there is an experience in itself: you can enjoy your first views of the Jungfrau region, Lake Thun and the Bernese Oberland. During the journey, you will be given a safety briefing where you will be informed about the flight procedure.
3 Preparation and briefing
After a short walk, your pilot will explain all the important details to you:
- How the start works
- how to behave before and after the start
- how to behave during the paragliding flight
The equipment is put on and carefully checked again.

6 The landing
The landing usually takes place in the center of Interlaken on the Höhematte opposite the famous 5-star Hotel Victoria Jungfrau. The landing is gentle, controlled and safe… After landing, the pilot can transfer your photos and videos to your cell phone before you either return to the meeting point to collect your belongings or continue your excursions in the Jungfrau region from here.

Paragliding Interlaken is possible all year round. In winter, the snow-covered mountains and clear air create a very special atmosphere. If it’s particularly cold and you don’t have suitable clothing, you can get warm winter pants and shoes from us in the store at check-in.
The procedure is the same as in summer, but of course you should dress appropriately warm.
Can you fly in any weather?
Safety is our top priority!
👉 Flying only takes place in suitable conditions.
We only fly in stable weather and suitable wind conditions. In some cases it is possible to fly in light rain. In strong winds, building thunderstorms or unsafe conditions, for example, we will not fly. In such cases, the tandem flight will be postponed and rebooked free of charge. If you are under time pressure and cannot rebook, you will receive a full refund of the flight price.
