The journey from Interlaken to 1,322 meters above sea level takes just 10 minutes but brings you to the footsteps of another world. At the top, spectacular views of the Jungfrau panorama and the azure waters of lake Brienz and Thun await. On the way, learn about the history of the railway, the local mountain legends and the fascinating geology of the area.

Trip Details

  • Meet your guide at the Interlaken Ost train station (other meeting points on request)
  • Hop on the funicular for a ride up to Harder Kulm – the Top of Interlaken
  • Arrival at Harder Kulm
  • A half-an-hour guided tour on the Harder Kulm with stories and legends about the construction and today’s importance of this attraction
  • Half-an-hour free time for photos, snacks, drinks or of course, stunning views
  • Take the train down to Interlaken
  • Walk back to your hotel or meeting point
  • Find out about other things to do, good restaurant tips and other local treats
