Skydiving in Interlaken
Description
The feeling of free fall high above the Swiss Alps
Throw yourself out of a plane at 4000 meters and experience the unique adrenaline rush of free fall – a tandem skydive makes this experience possible for everyone!
We will take you from Interlaken to the Skydive Switzerland base at the Reichenbach airfield in the Kandertal valley. After welcoming you, our qualified parachute pilots will explain the exact procedure of the jump and familiarize you with the safety regulations. The tandem masters hand over the equipment and then climb into the aircraft with you. During the flight you have plenty of time to enjoy the fantastic views of the peaks and glaciers of the Bernese Oberland.
Adrenaline rush in free fall
At 4000 meters above sea level, you get ready to jump over the mountains. The final safety checks – then it’s time. Against the breathtaking backdrop of the Swiss Alps, you jump out of the plane with the parachute pilot. In free fall, you hurtle towards the earth, the wind tugging at your jumpsuit and whistling around your ears. The free fall lasts around 45 seconds before the opening of the parachute slows down the seemingly unstoppable plunge into the depths.
After this adrenaline rush, you glide towards the ground with the paraglider for another 6 minutes and have the opportunity to marvel at the beautiful landscape. You land gently on the meadow directly in front of our base in Reichenbach.

What is the difference between an airplane and helicopter skydive?
The flight by plane to the jump height takes approx. 15-20 minutes. of which the helicopter flight only takes about 5-10 minutes. When jumping from the helicopter we can only offer handcam video/photos, but when jumping on the airplane we can offer handcam as well as the extra cameraman (video/photos). However, the cameraman is dependent on availability. The helicopter can take 2 tandems per rotation, the airplane up to 9 tandems, and the view is wonderful at both locations. You are closer to the mountains when you jump out of the helicopter, but you see less of the entire mountain range. When you jump out of the plane, you have a fantastic view of the mountain panorama of the Swiss Alps and the lakes.
