SWISS LOCATIONS OF THE FAMOUS NETFLIX SERIES
The famous 16-part Netflix series “Crash landing on you” was also filmed in Switzerland. The romantic South Korean TV drama is about a South Korean woman who drifts off to North Korea during a paragliding flight. An army officer helps her hide and falls in love with her…. When they realize that they have met before in Switzerland, there are corresponding flashbacks that were actually filmed in Switzerland.
These scenes were filmed in the region around Interlaken, among other places, and can of course be perfectly included in the itinerary for a vacation in Switzerland…
ISELTWALD – BRIENZERSEE – SWITZERLAND
This romantic village on the beautiful turquoise waters of Lake Brienz is easily accessible by BLS boat or post bus from Interlaken. Iseltwald is the only village on the left bank of Lake Brienz and is not called the pearl of Lake Brienz for nothing.
In episode 3 of the series “Crash Landing On You”, Ri Jeong-hyeok reminisces about his time as a pianist. This scene takes place directly at the landing stage in Iseltwald.
PANORAMABRIDGE SIGRISWIL
The panoramic bridge in picturesque Sigriswil with views of the Swiss Alps and Lake Thun is always worth a visit. The entrance fee is 8 Swiss francs per person and is definitely worth it to take some nice vacation pictures.
In episode 4 of the Netflix series, Ri Jeong-hyeok discovers the supposedly timid and shy Se-ri when he wants to photograph the beautiful mountain landscape of the Bernese Alps.
You can easily reach Sigriswil with the Postbus Line 25. The bridge is a 5-minute walk from the village.
LUNGERNSEE – OBWALDEN
Lungern in Obwalden is only about 1 hour from Interlaken and lies on the picturesque Lake Lungern. The journey there takes you over the Brünig Pass and guarantees fantastic views of the Swiss mountains. Lake Lungern was originally a natural lake, but its dam is now used to generate electricity. However, this in no way detracts from its naturalness and it is directly surrounded by the alpine mountains and the Dundelbach Falls, a waterfall that is particularly impressive in spring.
